Wishful Thinking

I have always adored dandelions. There's just something about them that makes them special. When i talk about dandelions i mean when they are white and at the stage where there pedals turn into little seeds, which will be caught in the wind and be blown away forever.. I have always liked taking pictures of them, capturing that hope and whit fluffiness that they contain. I went outside to take some pictures of them today and get a feel for their hope. There is a 'myth' (if you want to call it that) that if you make a wish and blow away the seeds, your wish will come true. I love how the dandelion represents hope, and that they usually come during the summer time. A time where there is sun filled days to be spent in joy. Since they occur in the summer time and they symbolize hope.. i think that they represent summer, in a way that summer is filled with hopes and dreams and that is what the dandelion is all about.... I also did an art project on them, because we had to choose something related to summer.. so i had to capture the dandelion in an art form. Which was harder than you think it would be.. to get the proportion size in the drawing just right was really hard, but it was fun taking pictures of them and then trying to paint/draw them.

When i was little my parents would take my brother and i into the forest to this little spot where we would play 'i spy...'. We called it the 'the secret i-spy' place because it was like a look out, an opening in the middle of the deep dense forest. I have been meaning to go back ther ever since we moved back here in Norway. Guess what...... i found it, today when i was wondering the forest! A lot of new trees have started growing there and it is hard to tell that it was ever a lookout spot.. but i know it was it because i remember when i was little there were tree stumps that we would sit on while we were playing the game.

Today i watched some documentaries that were on TV which were fascinating. I actually love watching documentaries, because i am interested in the behaviour and facts about animals and nature, (if you didn’t already know that) ;). There is also this other documentary that i have and it is about the 'cosmos' and it talks about the dark science and all that cool stuff! I love learning about that stuff, because then you view the whole world in a different way. For example on the show i learned that when you are moving, you are actually moving slower because you have to share your time with space. But when you are sitting down, time is going faster, because you don’t have to share it with space, (i'm sorry if that didn't make any sense to you guys what so ever, but at least hopefully i satisfied all those scientists out there) ;). I also watched this show called ' flying wild Alaska', which i also fell in love with, because it show the lifestyle of people living in the extreme cold. I have always wanted to live somewhere extreme for a few years after my college experience, to do some research and stuff. Alaska, australia and the Yukon (canada) have been some choices that i have been considering. :D

Also today i decided to experiment with makeup since it's a good thing to do in the summer, cuz at least today i haven't seen anybody yet.. :P

Anyways.. It is almost time for me to start heading over to my soccer game so hopefully all goes well!
